Monday, Oct. 26: Get an overview of innovation models by looking at the processes and workflows that encourage innovation—first by sector, then by region. What models work across geographies and industries? What are sector- and regional-specific? In the evening, attend the Ford Biomedical Engineering Lecture to learn about cutting-edge medical translational advances.

Tuesday, Oct. 27: Dive into innovation within specific sector growth areas through 12 breakout sessions covering key movements and market forces in areas such as health consumer empowerment, additive manufacturing, the Internet of Things, biomimicry, neighborhood change, company funding and formation, community organizations, models in law, university-industry partnerships, energy products, and many others. Celebrate all things innovation at Thinkapalooza starting at 6 p.m. in the new think[box] space, where you can pose with the Back to the Future DeLorean and experience cutting-edge cuisine by Chef Jonathon Sawyer.

Wednesday, Oct. 28: Fully engage in active and hands-on sessions that pull innovation practices to life. From a historical understanding of innovation to the practical applications of medical innovations; from active learning around the “Vertical Innovation” process to practicing your pitch technique and designing the next iteration of academic maker spaces, this last day of the Summit will leave you feeling energized and engaged, armed with information and practices to take back to your organizations, companies, and institutions.
